Tataratatatataaaa!!! Es wird eine großartige Nacht für die elektronische Tanzmusik. Ab Mitternacht präsentieren wir Euch Neues aus der Holzwerkstatt. Damit zielen wir ab auf Oliver Koletzkis neues Album „Made of Wood“, das gestern bei seinem Label Stil vor Talent erschienen ist. Der Titel des Werks ist eine Referenz an Holzinstrumente, die er für sich und seinen Sound entdeckt hat. Und was wir da zu hören kriegen, strotzt nur so von Lebendigkeit – obgleich es elektronische Tanzmusik ist.

Einen Vorgeschmack daraus hatten wir schon in der letzten Show eingebaut. Und auch dieses Mal bringen wir Koletzkis Groove. Allerdings nicht die Vorstellung des Albums, sondern einen Guest Mix aus seiner Feder! Den bringen wir um kurz nach 1 Uhr.

Und davor? Da übernehmen wir das Aufwärmprogramm – und zwar mit Kußhand. Dafür haben wir 12 Titel ausgewählt, die erst seit kurzem auf der Welt sind, bzw. sich noch im Zulauf befinden. Mit dabei sind unter anderem (A bis Z: Artist – Titel – Label [Katalog] – Veröffentlichungsdatum):

• Airwave - Good Old Pal Anxiety (Original Mix) - Bonzai Progressive [BP10362021] – out 18.06.21: “.. Deep, driving proggy vibes, laced with delicate melancholy and contrasting euphoric elements.” ### Progdorf meint: Eine sehr hübsche EP, von der wir leider nur den Titeltrack unterbekommen haben. Andermal hoffentlich mehr.
• Alexey Union - Givin' Up EP - ZEHN Records [ZEHN0047] – out 09.07.21: “Alexey Union breaks the barrier of sound once again: ‘Givin’ Up’ is the radiating title song of his new ZEHN EP. It all starts with a driven vintage flavored guitar riff and stylized vocals. Fueled by a wavy 80s beat, this track emulates a vibe like straight out of a cult TV series. Then: ‘Apacashaka’ hits! This is season two of our series if you want to. A shaky beat meets distant flutes and a tribal voice. We are now entering another world full of mysteries and ancient energies. ‘Bloom’ ads the final riddle to this adventure. A natural percussion drive, oriental string, and flute melodies establish a feeling of exotic spirits dancing on the mountains of Garhwal. It feels like an invitation from the gods to solve the age-old puzzle of humanity.” ### Progdorf meint: Alle drei Tracks sind derart der Hammer, daß wir auch alle spielen. Und das Schöne ist: Sie sind gänzlich unterschiedlich Awesome!!!
• Emre K. - Hypnotised (Original Mix) – Univack [UV089] – out 06.08.21:” The turkish artist Emre K. has a versatil style, in his music you can find elements of Melodic Techno, Progressive, or Deep House, all of them mixed in a particular mode to get a different emotion in each track.” ### Progdorf meint: Von ‚Hypnotised“ – im Original Mix – können wir nicht genug bekommen. Einer der Höhepunkte unseres Sets. Wir empfehlen Dauerloop! PS: Der Rafael Cerato Remix kann dagegen nicht mithalten.
• Deniz Kabu - Falling Out EP - ZEHN Records [ZEHN0048] – out 23.07.21: “… A wave of darkness encloses you like an endless pulsating blanket made from material energy itself. … Sometimes, to reach inside, all it needs is a little bit of ‘Falling Out’.” ### Progdorf meint: Deniz Kabu hatten wir ja schon öfters auf der Playlist. Von seiner EP ragen die ersten beiden Titel heraus, weshalb wir ‚Out of time‘ und ‚Falling out‘ auch im Programm haben.
• Lutzenkirchen - Right Here (Dub) - BluFin Records [BF327] – out 11.06.21: “Long time friend, with another big banger !!” ### Progdorf meint: Der Banger ist so bang, daß wir den Bass voll rausdrehen, ihn als Background Rhythmusspur verwenden und die Hauptspur zum bangen bringen. Alles klar?
• Oliver Koletzki & ELIH - Serpiente del Ritmo (CIOZ Remix) – Stil vor Talent [SVT296Y] – out 18.06.21: „On his remix for 'Serpiente Del Ritmo', a highlight of Oliver Koletzki's forthcoming 'Made of Wood' album, the Italian DJ and producer Cioz assumes the role of the snake charmer, teasing the original's oriental lead out of a lush rhythmic thicket of organic percussion, Spanish guitars and ELIH's powerful spoken-word vocal. The result is mesmerizing and moving in equal parts, made to tear up dance floors and fill hearts with euphoria this summer“. ### Progdorf meint: Besser als das Original. Chapeau!
• Sarkis Mikael & Epstein - Antares (Original Mix) - A Tribe Called Kotori [ATCK019] – out 11.06.21: “There are only bright stars in the constellation ‘Cosmic Dreams’, a three-track EP created by LA-based producers Sarkis Mikael and Epstein. … ‘Antares’ is pure movement, a luminous exploration that rushes through space and time, punctuated with wailing riffs echoing over Saturn-silver synths.” ### Progdorf meint: Die EP ist eine sehr schöne Arbeit, bei der der Name Programm ist. Am besten gefällt uns die Eröffnungsnummer.
• VooCha feat. Armageddon Turk and Mary Ocher – Interambiento – UniCAT [UniCAT009] – out 11.06.21: “Interambiento by VooCha (Melissa E. Logan) is a music release made with Armageddon Turk, Mary Ocher, Ortis and last but not least NLLY. It is a time travel into the future and a love song about the internet for the future people in 2065 who will hear about this thing, the internet. The song is dedicated to those who’s sites are being blocked and for the hundreds of journalists who are incarcerated for reporting the news every year. The song offers melancholia, Miami vice moments, 80's guitars, cinematic vibes and rather than a smooth ride, VooCha's signature methods are grit and bumps.” ### Progdorf meint: Zunächst waren wir hin-und-her gerissen zwischen Wow und Löschtaste. Als sich dann aber Melodie und Refrain ins Hirn gebohrt hatten, war klar: Wir bringen das Stück! Und gleich im Doppelpack. Gehirnwäsche wirkt …
